Meet Shannon!

Hi, I’m Shannon! It’s so good to meet you!

I’m a physical therapist, licensed dietitian, and outdoor enthusiast. I’m passionate about using science and research to help you:

  • meet big performance and fitness goals
  • learn how to build sustainable healthy habits
  • fuel well to rehab from injuries efficiently

I was born and raised in Nebraska, which is also where I went to college and PT school. I moved out west to Oregon to finish schooling to become a dietitian, and I loved the PNW so much that I decided to stay permanently!

While I was in undergrad, I decided to pursue a degree in nutrition with the hopes of becoming dual-licensed as a PT and RD. I wanted to be able to help people more comprehensively, and I recognized that nutrition played an important role in recovery and health. Having backgrounds in both PT and nutrition allows me to integrate the two fields in a way that other providers can’t, which maximizes the efficiency and effectiveness of your care.

Outside of work, you can find me in the outdoors. I love backpacking, climbing, skiing, and anything that lets me explore more. The experience I have in the outdoors and with preparing food for long days outside has helped me to develop better insight into what outdoor athletes need when it comes to fueling and training for adventure. I’m passionate about helping other outdoor athletes fuel well for going farther and harder in the mountains.
